Welcome to a brighter future for your child with special needs. The Upward Trend Foundation understands families' unique challenges in caring for children with special needs. That's why we're thrilled to offer an exclusive scholarship program tailored for families in Volusia County.
Our scholarship initiative is designed to provide financial support (to families of all income levels) to help access evidence-based services that can make a real difference in the lives of children with special needs. We believe in the power of education, therapy, and interventions grounded in proven methods. This scholarship is your gateway to accessing top-notch, evidence-based services that can enhance your child's development and well-being.
How the Scholarship Works
Upward Trend Foundation provides scholarships to help families offset the cost of evidence-based educational and therapeutic services. Scholarships may be used toward approved private education, tutoring, therapy, diagnostic services, and other evidence-based programming.
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the approved provider. The provider is the school, therapist, tutor, clinic, program, or organization that will receive the scholarship payment.
Parents complete the family portion of the application. The organization receiving the funds must complete the Provider Verification Form. If you are requesting funding for more than one provider, each provider must complete a separate Provider Verification Form.
Funding is released twice a year and applicants can apply to both rounds of funding. The current application is the only acceptable format and is located below. Your application must be EMAILED to upwardtrendfoundation@gmail.com (please do not drop applications off at our physical address).
