Funds go directly local families in the Volusia County area seeking alternative education and evidence-based interventions for their child. 

 The needs of students with exceptionalities vary widely, from explicit instruction to small ratios, to individualized interventions. Many of these supports are not offered in public school settings, and sadly the students fall behind. Often, this can result in children needing additional supports as adults, becoming an extra cost on society. Many families are seeking alternative education to ensure their child will achieve growth and not be forgotten. Unfortunately, alternative education does come with extra costs to families, and we believe these costs should never be a barrier to meeting a child’s needs.
